Day 1: Complete

Today was my last first day of school...and I couldn't be more excited! Getting back in Springfield and around my friends has been such a pick me up. I feel as if we were never really apart and have just picked up right were we left off last year. I was a bit fearful for my life walking around campus Friday, I thought a group of freshman and their parents might run me over.

And as much as I hate to admit it, I was a bit saddened Friday, too. I was on my way to the store and when I came to Roosevelt, I turned left. I didn't turn left at Roosevelt very often during the last few weeks of school, I always turned right. Knowing that I will rarely turn right, I have to keep telling myself that it's a good thing, kinda makes me miss last spring.

Anyways....one last hurrah was had on the beach in Long Island! I was finally able to fix a few nasty tan lines and spend even more time with my girls (minus Jess ~sad face~). We went to Tobay with Tobie :-)

PS This will most likely be the semester from Hell. A typical graduate student carries 9 credit hours....I'm taking 14 credit hours!! Along with hopefully begining my research for my thesis. I wasn't really mentally prepared for classes today but that doesn't matter. My girls and I were just as obnoxious as every and I know Murdawg missed us!!
